Threaded nozzles are typically offered with tapered pipe threads. NPT and BSPT threads are the most common. Other thread types are available for selected nozzles.

Inlet Connection Thread Type

Product Type

Many hydraulic spray nozzles include a numeric capacity size in the part number. Capacity size is often related to the flow rate of the nozzle at the rated spray pressure for that nozzle. For example, the capacity size for a 1/4HH10 FullJet® nozzle is “10”, which reflects a 1.0 gpm flow rate at 10 psi.

Capacity Size

Standard hydraulic nozzles range in connection size from 1/8” threaded nozzles up to those with 12” flange connections. Larger connection sizes typically have larger flow rates but a wide variety of configurations are available to meet your application needs.

Inlet Connection Size

Spray nozzles are manufactured from a wide variety of materials that have been determined to meet the usual requirements of the applications most commonly associated with that type of nozzle. Standard materials include brass, steel, various stainless steels, hardened stainless steels, many plastics and various carbides. Spray nozzles can also be supplied in other materials upon special request. Materials of construction affect nozzle wear life and resistance to corrosion and abrasion.

We offer the _**“brand”**_ filter as a convenience because many Spraying Systems Co. nozzle brand names are recognized by customers around the world, such as VeeJet® flat spray nozzles and FullJet® full cone nozzles. Most of our nozzle brands are registered trademarks in the United States and in other countries around the world.
